In the age of globalization and mobility, the network is everywhere and we need to access it wherever we go.

Here's an excerpt from my INQ7 Infotech @Play column piece for this week (this, by the way, is from the Technology beta site. You can also access it from the existing INQ7 Infotech site):

BANGKOK–I'm here now to cover the Juniper Networks APAC Carrier Partner Summit 2006, and just finished interviewing the company's chief marketing officer Jeff Lindholm a few minutes ago.

It should be noted that Jeff is the first CMO of the network solutions provider, which is now celebrating its 10th year. The creation of the position of CMO is part of the new direction for Juniper, which as Jeff put it wants to become a more market-driven company rather than simply a technology-oriented one.
