agja christmas party

The past few days have been hectic but incredibly fun-filled, particularly last night when we held the first Asian Gaming Journalists Association Christmas party.

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that AGJA is barely 8 months old, yet we now have 62 members in 5 countries: the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and India. I’m hoping that next year, we could together with our members in other countries or hold simultaneous parties, complete with webcasts and all. For more on AGJA, keep visiting our blog.

I can’t even begin to thank people enough for making the AGJA Christmas party a great success, but first I’d like to thank Digital Paradise Inc., the company behind Netopia and Extreme Gaming Grounds, for providing the venue. EGG Glorietta 4 isn’t even open to the public yet — I understand they’re opening this Friday — yet they gave us the whole place. Thank you so much.

This photo shows some of the Philippine members of AGJA — some of the members had already left when we took this group pic after the friendly tournaments had ended.

Thanks to Level Up!; Intel and Strategic Edge; Microsoft Philippines and Perceptions Inc., Tjader Regis and World Cyber Games Philippines; IBM Philippines; NetGames; Asian Media Development Group; IPVG/E-games.com.ph and Communications Experts Organization; Dominguez Marketing; Okey-Dokey Interactive Entertainment; TeamAsia; International Data Corp. Philippines; Z-Zone Online Philippines Inc.; FlipSide Games; Slycesoft; dme/Mobius.ph; Media Meter; MBsoft; Anino Entertainment; and Anino Mobile for helping make our party a success.

I have so many people to thank — thanks to everyone who went to our party 🙂
